Does Intellecap have an induction for new hires and any further training on the job?

Intellecap educates new hires on the company’s policies, processes, work and objectives, during an initial induction. This induction allows new team members the time to assimilate themselves into the Intellecap work environment. Team members then have the continued opportunity to be sponsored to attend executive training programs in a variety of fields.

Who are Intellecap’s clients?

Intellecap works with many stakeholders in the development space, including investors, banks, enterprises, microfinance institutions, non-government organizations, foundations, corporations, governments and multilateral development organizations.

How often do team members from each level interface with clients?

Our flat structure allows most team members to interact with clients directly during engagements. While Business Development is currently managed by the senior team members, employees at all levels are encouraged to generate leads and contribute through ideas and relationships.

What is the duration of consulting and investment projects?

The average duration of projects is about five months. However, there may be many assignments that are of a longer time-frame.

How often do team members travel?

Team members may be required to travel for various reasons, such as: coordination of primary data collection, research, on-field studies and supervision, and ground events. This could be anywhere between five to twenty days per month, depending on the requirement of the engagement.

Are team members exposed to the field?

Primary research and immediate client interface may necessitate a team member’s attendance at the institution’s head office or at the project-site. In case a field visit is not possible, we try and provide a complete picture of the space through knowledge sharing.

Is there a peak-season or a slow-season for work?

Intellecap’s work is project-based. Hence, it is not possible to say with certainty what the work load will look like at a particular time of year. There is no defined peak or slow season.

Are there international career opportunities?

Projects may require team members to travel abroad. However, Intellecap does not currently offer positions outside of India.

Will Intellecap sponsor international work visas?

Intellecap welcomes qualified, enthusiastic and driven people from around the world. Intellecap does not pay the cost of procuring a work visa from a foreign country. However, we support international employees with documentation during this process. If an employee continues with Intellecap into the second visa cycle, we pay for visa renewal.

Will Intellecap pay relocation costs?

Intellecap does not bear relocation expenses of any kind, including individual travel or transport of goods.

What are the facilities for accommodation during the time of joining?

Intellecap has guesthouses at select locations, but providing accommodation is a matter of availability. Apart from this, we do not have the facility to reimburse accommodation charges.
