Microfinance Development
The Microfinance Development Group, includes Intellecap’s subsidiary IntelleCash and the Microfinance Training Academy.
IntelleCash is guided by the vision to expand the outreach of microfinance to under-served areas and to create an ecosystem of local institutions and entrepreneurs working on industry best practices, suitably customized to the local context, and the Microfinance Training Academy has been set-up in Jaipur (India) to respond to the challenge of identifying skilled human resources in microfinance.
The IntelleCash Microfinance Delivery Model is a low cost, quick scale version of the Grameen Model, and the IntelleCash Microfinance Network Program is an end-to-end solution that supports clients with strategy, operations, equity, funding, training and technology. The result of adopting IntelleCash’s comprehensive solution is catalyzed growth, improved outreach and accelerated break even.
IntelleCash’s clients range from start-up entrepreneurs to established institutions requiring the improved structure and support that IntelleCash provides. In each case, we provide the tools to standardize consolidate and scale-up operations, while preserving the independence and uniqueness of each partner.

IntelleCash Microfinance Network Program
IntelleCash Microfinance Network Program aims to provide integrated support to start up MFIs by working with them for three to five years to help achieve stability, scale and size. The Program provides to network partners, strategic advisory services and strong on-the-ground execution support to facilitate scale.
IntelleCash drastically reduces the start-up gestation period of an MFI, and affects quick scale up of the operations by providing its network partners the complete set of microfinance business inputs:

IntelleCash On-Lending Service
Funding is one of the most critical challenges for start-up MFIs. To address this challenge, IntelleCash provides on-lending funds to its network partners through its lending arm, which is a Non Banking Finance Company, registered with the Reserve Bank of India.
The NBFC provides debt to the IntelleCash network partners to help them rise to a level where they are more attractive to mainstream banks and financial institutions.

Microfinance Training Academy
The Microfinance Training Academy provides innovative and cost effective solutions to the recruitment and training challenges of the microfinance industry. The first offering of the Academy to the industry is a steady supply of trained, ‘field-ready’ loan officers. The availability of these officers reduces the training and time costs to MFIs.
The first batch of the IntelleCash Microfinance Training Academy was rolled out in June, 2009.
