Liz (full name Elizabeth, but she goes by Liz) joins us as a Partner with the Sankalp team in Intellecap. She will be based out of our Nairobi office.

She holds an MBA in Corporate Social Responsibility from the University of Nottingham and a BA, in English Literature and Creative Writing from the University of Warwick.

Liz has a wealth of experience working in the for-impact sector, and most recently was Chief Strategy and Partnerships Officer with Village Enterprise – a non-profit seeking to end extreme poverty in Sub-Saharan Africa, where she led a 500%+ growth in the organisation (from $3.5M to $17.5M). Her expertise includes developing strategy, forming, and nurturing strategic partnerships, and event leadership. She is looking forward to learning from our whole team and wants to let you know that she is always available for a chat and sharing ideas.

She is British but has spent the last 13 years living in East Africa (between Kenya and Tanzania). Her sole visit to India to date was post-graduation for three weeks, where she spent a wonderful three weeks with host families in New Delhi and Mumbai and watched a lot of football (it was a World Cup year) – she is looking forward to getting to know the country and culture much better. She has two small boys and has subsequently acquired a series of surprising skills, from making paper airplanes to drawing dinosaurs.
